We love Bob

Ugh, my main computer has died on me... For goodness sake, back up back up back up now!

Anyway - can't face the hassle of getting it fixed yet (or rather the disappointment of hearing some geek tell me that there's no alternative but to wipe the hard drive and reinstall windows XP).

In the meantime, this is a wonderful site... the complete sessions of Bob Dylan, like a zimmerman frame version of Revolution in the Head (without the classy writing obviously). Still, fun fun fun, for those of us Bobophiles who love long lists and detail. Frankly, I can only sit here in a glow of admiration.

oh, and then there's also the wonderful No Direction Home timeline and the rest:

and if you need some aural satisfaction, take this:

and then visit My Old Kentucky Home, wherein you'll find dozens of fine versions of this song, and pass on to Kwaya Na Kisser wherein you will find a whole 29 August 1989 New Mexico live show from the neverending tour. There can never be too much Bob!

In the meantime, where's that bloody screwdriver??!!!

International Mixtape Project

This is a charming idea.

Pay $10, and get to send mixtapes or CDs of your favourite music to complete strangers around the world, and receive the same in return.

Simple.
